IV. Emperor (The Black Tarot).
Emperor -tyrant, with both hands holding on to his power. His iron grip is as strong as his will. He paid a great price for seizing his throne and forcing others to pay even more - the road was difficult, but his completion cost any victim, any loss, any pain. The emperor will never drop his age, whatever it costs him.
The emperor is cold-blooded, calculated, more similar not to a person, but to an artificially created soulless mechanism. The emperor is evil as a murderer, and yet, as if his reign was not cruel, he appreciates not only his own power, but also the possession that he manages. He steadfastly saves his money, allowing no one to succumb to them.
Value in the forward position: stability; power; successful realization of the thoughts; wealth.
Value in an inverted position: cruelty
absurdity; stupid advice; money crisis; the inability to cope with the task.
A map enhances significance: Four Pentacles means the triumph of world power, the gentle domination over material goods, the joy of ownership - that the Emperor values above all.
Map that weakens the meaning: The Seven Cups means the power built on the sand, and the imaginary reasoning generated by illusion for the emperor is unacceptable and fragile good.
A map that changes the meaning: A Ten Rod means excessive gravity of the damage it takes, with it the emperor becomes a victim of his own power, a martyr who bends under the yoke of his power, but even then does not retreat.
